Headless CMS Migration: From WordPress to Contentstack

An engineering case study documenting the migration of Cirrus Aircraft's WordPress content and forum plugin data into a new Contentstack CMS and a new Discourse platform. I owned the migration script that extracted and transformed WordPress data for both destinations, and I also led Discourse's visual identity customization, heavily tailoring its theme, components, and plugins.

Role

I owned the migration script that extracted and transformed WordPress content and forum plugin data for both the new Contentstack CMS and Discourse platform, and I led Discourse's visual identity customization, heavily tailoring its theme, components, and plugins. I also authored the published engineering case study documenting the approach and outcomes. The new Contentstack content schema was designed and built by the ArcTouch team.
